Education council
NIC’s Education Council (EdCo) is responsible for ensuring educational quality at the college and is mandated under the College and Institute Act.
EdCo serves two main functions:
- Review and approve curriculum and policies that relate to academic standing, standards and evaluation of student performance.
- Advise the Board of Governors on educational policy (e.g.. implementing or cancelling courses and programs, admissions policies or the criteria for awarding credentials).
