Study spaces

Our Campbell River, Comox Valley and Port Alberni libraries are equipped with study rooms that can be booked up to two weeks in advance. Each are equipped with whiteboards, TVs to stream presentations or content from your laptop and enough table room for you and your study partners to comfortably fit around.

Research support

We're provide expert advice and help with research, including finding and evaluating resources and creating and formating citations. Support is available online, in-person, by email or telephone.

Math and writing support

Book one-on-one time with our math support faculty. Each 30-minute appointment can be on-campus or in-person and is a great way to help you tackle math-related problems relating to studies in business, trades, sciences and other areas of study. Our faculty can also help you with more technical problems to do with applications such as graphing, budgeting, calculators and spreadsheets.

If you’re having problems with academic writing, simply book an appointment with one of our writing support faculty instead. Get help with planning your assignment, developing your thesis or adding structure to your writing.

You can also register for upcoming workshops, browse in-depth guides and writing tools or submit samples of your work online for feedback via our WriteAway service.

Students can access up to one hour of tutoring per course, per week through our Peer Tutoring program. The best part? It’s available entirely online. We’ll do our best to match you with the best tutor for your course or subject.
