Try out the trades with NIC’s Women in Construction Trades. This two-week, tuition-free program is offered at our Port Alberni campus and provides hands-on training for women.

You’ll get the chance to sample the following NIC trades programs:

  • Automotive
  • Carpentry
  • Culinary Arts
  • Metal Fabrication
  • Plumbing
  • Welding

You’ll also receive certification in OFA Level 1.
