North Island College is bringing its Health Care Assistant certificate program to Denman Island, starting in September.

The North Island’s future Red Cross First Aid instructors now have a place close to home to work toward their certification, thanks to NIC becoming a Red Cross Instructor Development Centre.

Prepare to work with commercial cleaning companies, schools, hospitals and offices, or start your own business.

New international students will be arriving in this spring, and NIC's Office of Global Engagement is looking for peer mentoring volunteers. This is an exciting opportunity for continuing students to help new students settle and adjust to life in Canada and at NIC.
